Our first batch is brewing

The first glass is yours

In Yemeni homes, tea is the first thing offered to a guest, and we'd like to do the same for you. Our first batch is just 500 tins, and everyone on the list can order 48 hours before anyone else, with 15% off their first order.

A forest-green tin of Warda Adeni Tea among cardamom, cloves and cinnamon

Adeni Tea

The milk tea

Black tea with real cardamom, cloves and Ceylon cinnamon, blended strong enough to stand up to milk. It's creamy, aromatic and comforting, made for the slow, milky Yemeni way of drinking tea.

A tin of Warda Red Tea

Red Tea

The everyday classic

Ceylon black tea with the same real cardamom, cloves and Ceylon cinnamon. It's bold and clear, drunk black and often sweet, alongside conversation.

Warda is named after my mother. Here in the UK you'll find karak on most high streets, but a proper Adeni tea is hard to come by outside a Yemeni home, so I wanted to make it easy for anyone to brew a proper cup without needing a shelf of spices.

A few questions

When does the first batch go on sale?

We aren't naming a date just yet. Everyone on the list will hear 48 hours before anyone else, so you won't miss it.

How does the 15% off work?

Everyone on the list gets 15% off their first order from the first batch. We'll email you a code, and tell you how long it lasts, when the batch opens.

What's in the tea?

Black tea blended with real cardamom, cloves and Ceylon cinnamon. There are no extracts and no flavourings.

How often will you email me?

About once a month, with the Warda Letter: new stories from the Journal and news of our tea. We'll also email you when the first batch opens. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
